A world where support for those affected by sexual exploitation is readily and easily available.
A world where there is support for victims of sexual exploitation on every continent.
Our vision:
The aim is to support women and their children in coming to terms with their past, gaining stability in everyday life and developing new perspectives in order to lead a long-term non-violent and self-determined life.
our mission
We offer individual advice and support for sexually exploited women (and their children).
Our values
person-centered
We work by employing a non-directive approach. This means the counseling process is informed by the client, moving at a self-directed pace and addressing issues deemed most important by them (C. Rogers).
creative
Creative action and thinking are important in all of our work areas. Our goal is to find individual solutions and to do interdisciplinary social work. We use creative offers such as art therapy, photo courses or therapeutic workshops on the body and movement.
collaborative
By working with different organizations, we can achieve our vision.
We work with professionals such as therapists or counselors who are specifically trained in supporting victims of sexual exploitation.
trauma sensitive
We work with a trauma-sensitive approach and are aware of the consequences of trauma. We have a mindful attitude towards everyone we work with, without always assuming or knowing of trauma. Our offerings are aligned with trauma principles: safety, choice and transparency, peer, support, collaboration, empowerment.
empower
Empowerment describes the process of leading a life with participation in society.
We want to strengthen the self-confidence of the clients by giving them access to education, therapy, professional skills and resources, and to inform about their rights.
